Todays manufacturers simply dont make this type of packaging anymore . The unique reliability of Honda, paired with a naturally aspirated engine, a manual transmission, and just enough electronics to keep things comfortable without making the car unnecessarily heavy, delivers a pure driving experience. It's exactly for this reason that the market has taken notice, making the S2000 an extremely sought-after vehicle. A key point worth noting on this particular car is that it is not a rebuilt title. And being a Honda, everything on this car is fully functional — it runs perfectly with no rattles, the A/C blows cold, and the convertible top operates flawlessly.
A few very minor upgrades were added to enhance the driving experience, including an Apexi exhaust system giving the VTEC what it needs, a fully adjustable Bilstein suspension (a $6,000 setup), and a racing-style clutch. Each of these small tweaks simply delivers a sharper, more engaging drive.
In terms of overall quality, the convertible top is like new, and the interior materials present extremely well, with only minor fading on some of the painted trim pieces. The paint is good overall, though it should be noted that the front of the vehicle and side skirts do show some stone chips, and the car has had some prior paint work.
The wheels also show some wear. As the undercarriage pictures confirm, this S2000 has clearly been properly stored throughout its 23-year life.
